Gwynne House would be delighted to offer you high quality accommodation and service. Information on this pages will provide you with details on how you can make a payment for your accommodation.

Deposits & Guarantees

A debit/credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee the room.  A non-refundable deposit of 30% or £40 (whichever is greater) per room is required at the time of booking. Special event periods may require a different deposit amount or a full payment depending on the time of booking and will be stated during the booking process.
Note that booking deposit is not refundable.
We accept the following methods of payment:

  • Cash
  • Personal / Business cheques.
  • Credit Cards: MasterCard, JCB, Visa (3% surcharge applied)
  • Debit Cards: Visa and Visa - Electron.
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer

The Guest must pay all outstanding charges on departure.
A 3% surcharge will be applied for international or business debit card and all (including personal) credit card transactions.
When paying via bank transfer your bank may charge you an additional fee for each transaction.

Cancellation and No Show

Our cancellation and no show policies will apply only once your booking has been confirmed by Gwynne House. Once you have provided us with your debit/credit card information, the booking confirmation will be send to you via email.

If you cancel 48 hours or more before check in date:

If you have paid a deposit at the time of your booking no additional payments will be required, unless specifically mentioned otherwise at the time of your booking.
If the deposit has not been paid we will charge you 30% or £40 (whichever is greater) per room, unless specifically mentioned otherwise at the time of your booking.
Note that booking deposit is not refundable.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before check in date:

We will charge a one night fee per room for every room you booked.

If you have not cancelled your booking and do not check in (No Show):

Failure to arrive will be treated as a late cancellation and will incur a minimum cancellation fee of one (1) night, per room, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation email.

Damage

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card, provided a the time of the reservation, for any damage incurred to your room or the property during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.
